The Polka Club Of Iowa got together thursday night August 21, 2008 for a polka demonstration. As we gathered around with the residents of the retirement home we set up several routines, the dancing got started. As the music played under the direction of Dick McLain we put on a great show. Al & Edith Landin were there with their 3 triple grandchildren. They even got into the beat of the waltzes. We danced about 45 minutes with a few breaks. After the dance we visited with several residents as they talked to us about the dance and how nice we conducted it. As you can see by the pictures above we all had fun.
