The Bishop Drumm Care Center Diversity Fest was celebrated in the parking lot under 3 tents on the front campus. The food and activities started at 2: 00 PM.

The Diverse Cultures represented were: Bosnian, Czech, German, Irish, Dutch, Spanish, African American and African. Residents, family members, staff and visitors enjoyed a variety of food ranging from Pita from Bosnia to Kolaches from The Czech Republic. There was food representing each country.

Entertainment included The Young Spanish Dancers with their colorful attire, The Reenactment of Harriet Tubman by Martina's manager, Sharon.. African Dancers from Kenya, and members of The Polka Club of Iowa whose dances included the Polka, Waltz, Schottische, Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey and concluded with a patriotic song which ended the festival. We all had a good time and will be looking forward to the next festival.
